B2B Appointment Setter
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Newmarket, Ontario
Salary: Performance Based
Hours: Full Time or as agreed upon
The Position
- Excite local business owners (realtors, insurance agents, dentists, salons, restaurants, ETC) about the opportunity for insurance, benefit, and investments opportunities
- Qualify and take notes regarding potential client interest, for a Advisor to follow up
- Handle customer questions
- Follow do-not-call procedures
- Responsible for achieving weekly/monthly sales quotas
- Attend meetings and training sessions as directed by management
- Complete daily and weekly sales reporting using assigned tools
*Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education
- Strong presentation and verbal communication skills with the ability to “sell the appointment”
- Able to quickly build a rapport with business owners
- Positive attitude with high energy level
- Resilient and tenacious
- A self-starter who is adaptable
- Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of MS Office or Google Suite, the ability to navigate the internet (bookmark web pages, send and receive emails, perform Google searches)
- Previous experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Insurance Industry an asset
